Loving oatmeal porridge is a big part of making a small footprint with your diet. It also ensures you don't $nack all morning. And it's healthy! Oatmeal may help lower cholesterol and reduce the risk of heart disease. The soluble fiber in oatmeal makes you feel full longer. Oatmeal contains a wide array of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants and is a good source of protein, complex carbohydrates and iron. Plus you're going to add apples, raisins and honey, and maybe some yogurt or nuts/seeds. It's a perfect start to your day.

The idea of making it weekly and reheating it may not appeal to you if you haven't tried it. Believe me, it's even better reheated!
